I'm the type of person who puts pesto on everything: bread, eggs, salad, pasta, pizza, you name it. I whole-heartedly believe pesto is the besto. Anyways, without further ado, here's the best pesto recipe in the whole wide world (and I've tried pesto from around the world so you know it's true).
Ingredients
1 c fresh basil
2 cloves garlic
1/4 c parmesan cheese
1/4 c olive oil
2 T walnuts or pine nuts
1/2 t salt
1/2 t ground pepper
Directions
Mash or mince garlic.
Blend garlic, parmesan, nuts, salt, and pepper until smooth and even.
Add in the basil and olive oil and puree until desired consistency is reached.
